I had an overall mixed experience at The Elliott House Inn. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore downtown Charleston, but I did have a significant issue with cleanliness. Although my room appeared well-kept upon arrival, previous guests had reported cockroaches, which made me uneasy during my stay. Additionally, noise from a nearby restaurant hindered my sleep, despite the friendly service I received from the staff.
Rooms
6.0
My room was nicely appointed, with newer marble tiles and decent linens, but I found it a bit musty and dark. The air conditioner was quite loud and necessary due to the noise from the restaurant next door.
Service

The staff were quite friendly and offered useful recommendations for local spots to visit, though they didn't provide much information upfront about dining options.
Location

The location is amazing, right in the heart of Charleston and within easy walking distance to many attractions. I was able to stroll to Colonial Lake and the city market easily.
